How big are your letters?
Our light up letters are all 5ft tall (1.5m) and 26cm deep with a maximum width of 4ft. There are some symbols (e.g. &) that sit slightly smaller at 4ft 2″.
How are the letters lit up?
The light up letters for hire are illuminated using an extra low voltage LED lighting system, which does not heat up like normal household lightbulbs so they are completely safe for you and your guests. Each light up letter is individually wired and fully PAT tested.
Do the prices shown on the website include delivery?
The prices that you see on the website are for the hire of the letters only including 50 miles free delivery. When you provide your venue’s postcode we can advise of the cost for the hire including delivery.
How long is the hire of the letters?
The price quoted is for the date of your event. The letters will be collected the following morning, or at the end of the evening dependant on your venues requirements. Longer hire periods can be discussed but may incur an additional charge.
Do you require a deposit?
The Light Up Letters are very popular and therefore we do require a booking deposit to secure them for your date. We ask for a £50 non refundable deposit to be paid when you book your letters with us.
How are the letters made and who supplies your letters?
They are hand-crafted in the UK they are built by our own in house team from wood and finished to the highest standard.
Can the letters be moved around the venue?
The letters can be moved around the venue if required, we have designed them to be lightweight. However we would recommend that they are set up and left in place throughout the event.
Can the letters be placed outside?
The letters are not designed to be placed outside.
Our venue requires PAT Test records and Public Liability Insurance information can you supply that documentation?
All of our letters PAT tested on a regular basis by our in house electrical team and have records readily available for your venue to inspect as required. We also hold £5 million Public Liability Insurance and as with the PAT test records the documentation is readily available upon request.
